How has your department/unit benefited from using Navigate?
Navigate has helped our department become more consistent with our advising practices. All of the advisors in our undergraduate office use navigate for scheduling, notes/reports, and to run campaigns for course request. The campaign feature has also allowed our department to be more proactive in our advising as we run a campaign after the first chemistry exams and after midterm grades are released.
What feature in Navigate do you utilize the most?
There are two features in Navigate that I use daily so they are tied for most utilized. The two features that I use the most are the advising appointment reports and the advanced search feature. I report on all of my appointments daily and I use the advanced search to acquire a multitude of data.
What would you tell other advisors who are thinking of using Navigate?
I would tell those advisors to start using Navigate as soon as possible. Navigate has made my life so much easier and more efficient because it is a central program for all of my advising needs.
