How has your department/unit benefited from using Navigate?
Navigate has been a fantastic addition to our advising tools. Navigate allows our department to better manage our advising time and to track student meetings. Navigate has also helped us to better serve students as we can see how students might be interacting with other departments. We are also able to follow students’ advising concerns through the reports.
What feature in Navigate do you utilize the most?
It is hard to pick which function I use the most! I think I use the appointment/availability feature the most to communicate my availability to students. I also use these features in conjunction with campaigns as well. I also use the kiosk function daily as it helps us to manage students that need to be seen.
What would you tell other advisors who are thinking of using Navigate?
I encourage all advisors to at least try Navigate. As you incorporate Navigate into your daily work, you will find that you use it far more than you anticipated. Navigate has increased our time management and ability to better serve students.
