What was the biggest challenge you encountered as a transfer college student and how did you overcome it? I really missed my community and family when I transferred to Radford University but overcame that challenge by getting involved in an academic club and making friends from my classes.
What is one piece of advice you would give transfer college students? Don't be afraid to introduce yourself to other students, faculty, and staff. Share your story, the program you are studying and make Virginia Tech your home for the next few years.
