What was the biggest challenge you encountered as a transfer college student and how did you overcome it? The biggest challenge I faced was finding my people! I transferred to VT in 1995 and we didn't have all of the orientations, meet and greets, etc. You were on your own. I overcame this challenge by joining the Wildlife Society, actively participating in class, and seeking opportunities to engage.
What is one piece of advice you would give transfer college students? Get involved! There are now over 700 clubs and organizations at VT! Find your people!
