What do you hope to be doing in ten years?
In ten years, I hope to be traveling around the world working on water quality issues in developing countries that are often hit by natural disaster.

Fort Worth, Texas

What do you enjoy most about VT or your major?
I love that my major is full of outdoor enthusiasts who care about the planet.

What one piece of advice would you give to a potential transfer student?
Do a Study Abroad program. I got scholarships to pay for my trip to Australia and it was AWESOME!

New River Community College

What do you enjoy most about VT or your major?
I love how passionate people are about animals and the environment. It's not really a field you join for the money, so you know that everybody is there because they WANT to be and really care about conservation. It's also encouraging to see so many other openly queer people!

Do you have any campus involvements and/or achievements you want to highlight?
I'm currently working on a camera trapping project targeting least weasel activity! Processing data is surprisingly fun, and I basically get academic credit for watching videos of animals run around and put their faces right up to the camera.
