What do you enjoy most about VT or your major? What I love most about Virginia Tech is the community of students. When I first visited, everyone I met was so welcoming and excited to be here. I could tell instantly everyone loved being a Virginia Tech student and I knew I had to be one too. No matter where you go someone will start talking to you and make you feel like an instant friend.
What one piece of advice would you give to a potential transfer student? My biggest piece of advice is to talk to anyone and everyone. At my old school, I found myself to be very closed off and this hindered my experience. When I came here, I forced myself out of my comfort zone to talk to strangers and to join as many organizations as I could. Through this, I've met so many amazing people and friends. The awesome thing about Virginia Tech is anyone you talk to will make an effort back and make you feel welcome.
