What do you enjoy most about VT or your major? For my Arabic major I love how small the classes and how much of a community it is! It's awesome having the same teachers for semesters on end and really getting to know their teaching styles just as they get to know your learning styles.
What one piece of advice would you give to a potential transfer student? Fight for your transfer credits! One thing that is not talked about enough is how we as transfers get cheaped out of certain transfer credits. I had no clue that there were forms that you can fill out to justify why a transfer credit should fit a certain pathway or class, had I known I definitely would not have had to take certain courses.
What do you hope to be doing in ten years? I hope to be working abroad after having spent my first few years after undergrad in New York City. I hope to have pursued and successfully obtained another degree, likely in business. I hope that I will have gotten the experience of traveling and living in many different countries/cities within the 10 years.
