Advisor of the Month

The goal of the Advisor of the Month program is to recognize outstanding academic and career advisors. Recognition is based on evidence of qualities and practices that distinguish the nominee as an outstanding academic or career advisor to include:

• Quality of information and advice
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Implementation of a "support and challenge" environment
• Accessibility

Advisor of the Month is open to all undergraduate academic advisors in an academic college and career advisors. Students and faculty/staff can nominate an advisor. Self-nominations are also welcome. An advisor may only be nominated once an academic year.
