Academic Advisor Hold

To minimize barriers of academic holds and monitoring of those holds it is recommended these be limited to the following situations in consultation with advising leadership:

• New students who have not met with an academic advisor for Virtual Academic Advising and Course Registration (VAACR) to ensure they are onboarded correctly at the institution
• Students who have not completed an action item such as an appointment concerning changes to their academic standing
• Students who are no longer eligible to remain in their program of study due to not making progress towards their degree
