What do you enjoy most about VT or your major? What draws me most to my major is the opportunity to bring mathematics, statistics, and computer science together in my field of study. I have many interests and studying at VT has allowed me to explore them all.
What one piece of advice would you give to a potential transfer student? Dream big and pursue your goals! Use your time in college to explore and improve your skills in order to bring you closer to where you want to be. Don't feel like your major or status as a student puts you in a box. Your years in college are unique to you and you have the liberty to study what you want!
What do you hope to be doing in ten years? In ten years I see myself as having a Masters in either Machine Learning or Cybersecurity, a private pilot's license, and higher proficiency levels in Russian, Mandarin, Korean, and Spanish. Throughout my twenties I hope to travel as extensively as I can as well as continue to improve my boxing skills and explore different martial arts styles.
