What one piece of advice would you give to a potential transfer student? Get involved. Students coming from community colleges may not be aware of all the opportunities offered by universities. Go to any event that sounds interesting, talk to your advisor, make friends. You may not know what to look for at first, but opportunities will find you if you seek them.
