Programs/degrees

Virginia Teach offers a wide variety of programs and degrees, some you may not even be aware of. Explore VT Majors offers a brief description of every undergraduate program offered, along with potential careers and similar majors if it doesn’t seem to be a perfect fit.

Checksheets

Checksheets provide degree requirements for each major. To determine your specific degree requirements, you will follow the year in which you plan to graduate. Checksheets are listed alphabetically or by college on the University Registrar Checksheets site.

Academic Planning with HokieGPS

HokieGPS is an online tool which allows a student to plan out courses needed for their degree. It allows you to check your plan against degree requirements to be sure you have everything needed for graduation.  This tool can be accessed in HokieSpa by signing in with your PID and password. The link is located at the very bottom of the menu in HokieSpa. Additional Resources to assist with developing your Academic Plan can be found on the advising website. You may also attend an academic planning workshop to work with an advising ambassador to develop your academic plan.
