Years of in academic advising (not just VT): I have worked in higher education for 16 years, including 15 years in academic advising. My current role focuses on the supervision and oversight of a team of professional academic advisors who support roughly 6,000 Pamplin undergraduate students. I also work closely with Pamplin’s Career Services and International Programs teams, as well as each of the seven academic departments

What you enjoy most about mentoring: I’m looking forward to the opportunity to connect with colleagues across campus and share what I’ve learned throughout the years on my (somewhat unconventional) journey from advisor to advising leader.
