Years of in academic advising (not just VT): I have worked in higher education for 11 years, including 11 years in academic advising. My current role focuses on advising Political Science and International Studies majors on campus.  

Areas of expertise: Academic advising, student success, career coaching, transfer student support.

Additional Leadership Roles: Advising Network Social Chair (2025-27), Advising Network Communications Chair (2021-23), Faculty Advisor for OPA Service Sorority (2016-Present)

Why I mentor: I enjoy passing on the wisdom and encouragement that I’ve received from previous mentors in my past. I enjoy getting to meet new people and to contribute to their journey of being a higher education professional.
