What do you enjoy most about VT or your major?
While in community college I wasn’t given the opportunity to study my intended major to any depth. While studying at Virginia Tech, I’ve been given the opportunity to study specific industries that interest me and I have become passionate about. There are so many unusually specific classes to explore.
What one piece of advice would you give to a potential transfer student?
Take advantage of all of the opportunities and support programs available to you at Virginia Tech. There are SO many programs put in place for you specifically.

What one piece of advice would you give to a potential transfer student?
When you first get to Blacksburg, it can feel overwhelming especially coming from a smaller school like I did. The best thing I did was get out to Gobbler Fest and join things that I was interested in. The benefit to being in such a big school is that there’s something for everything, so take advantage of that and find your people!
What do you enjoy most about VT or your major?
I enjoy the community here at Virginia Tech the most. While the education is a huge step up and something I also enjoy, the ability to feel at home here at Tech surrounded by people who love this school has been incredible.

What do you enjoy most about VT or your major?
What I enjoy most about VT is the people and how friendly they are and how they are willing to help each other out whenever you need it. The thing that I enjoy about my major is how it will help me in the future and that the class that relate to my degree are actually interesting.
What one piece of advice would you give to a potential transfer student?
The advice that I would give to potential transfer students is to join clubs because that will help you meet people and to always try something new because then you can learn from it and grow from it.
