The Hokie Transfer Community (HTC) just celebrated its three-year anniversary! As Virginia Tech celebrates National Transfer Student Week (October 18-23), we would like to recognize and celebrate all the amazing work Virginia Tech’s community has done to support the transition of our transfer students. This presentation will highlight the successes of HTC to include a review of assessment data from the past three years, the results of the Transfer Student Engagement Survey, and changes to HTC programs to meet the varying needs of our transfer students.

Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) is a resource available to students who have or think they may have disabilities. The department provides numerous accommodations, services, and resources for students with disabilities and temporary injuries or illnesses. This session will detail the services offered by SSD and how academic advisors can support or refer to students to see us.
