What is one of your favorite parts of your role as an advisor? Being able to see students who come in as first year students, and then see them complete their degrees and graduate is a proud moment for me.
What is one piece of advice you would offer to a brand new advisor? To be a good listener. I believe that I have provided a safe haven for many students who have needed a bit of guidance, and a sympathetic ear.
