Why did you choose to be an academic advisor? I chose to be an academic advisor to support students! When I was an undergraduate student, my advisor helped me in many ways, and I wanted to pay it forward and help others on their collegiate journey.
What is one of your favorite parts of your role as an advisor? I enjoy seeing my students pursue what is meaningful to them - both in their education and their personal lives. They have a window in their lives where they can explore their identity, their interests, their passions. I’m happy that my support gives students the opportunity to learn more about who they are along the way to earning their degree.
