Advising Ambassadors

We would like to introduce our spring 2019 Advising Ambassadors!

Advising Ambassadors, Advising Matters at Virginia Tech

They joined us this spring and have been an integral part of connecting students to academic advising at Virginia Tech. Their primary duties are to assist students with developing an academic plan which integrates their curricular and co-curricular experiences; and serve as a resource to connect students with their academic advisor and general campus resources.

Ally

Ally Clement

Major: Higher Education Program

Why did you become an Advising Ambassador?
"I wanted to be a part of the Advising Ambassadors because I see the transformative impact an advisor can have on college students. I love that college students have so many opportunities ahead of them, but without intentional planning, it can be difficult to choose a path. I want to equip students with the tools and guidance to make strong academic decisions."
